XIMO Clothing 2025 Autumn and Winter Conference kicks off, time and space weaving travel interprets the future fashion narrative
On May 20, 2025, under the dome of the West Bund Art Center in Shanghai, ximo clothing officially opened the autumn and winter brand launch with the theme of "Time and Space Weaving Journey". This fashion narrative that straddles reality and fantasy shows the brand's in-depth exploration of postmodern aesthetics through three immersive theme chapters.
In the "Digital Totem" series, the designer team combines Mongolian embroidery technology with 3D fluid printing technology. 28 sets of clothing inspired by bronze patterns present a gradual change relief effect through dynamic light-sensitive fabrics. For the specially exhibited robe numbered XMO-25B, the intelligent temperature control module on the placket can automatically adjust the opening and closing of the ventilation hole according to the ambient temperature. The audience can view the process decomposition animation by scanning the clothing label through the AR device.
The second chapter "Ecological Folds" focuses on sustainable fashion, and the series of products use marine bio-based fibers independently developed by the brand. According to Lin Wei, the chief technology officer, the material accounts for 63% of the polymer extracted from algae, and can be completely degraded in 12 months after laboratory testing. The detachable glacier blue coat that debuted at the finale can be transformed into 5 wearing forms through modular design, and the flexible photovoltaic film on the lining can continuously power mobile devices.
To enhance the interactive experience of the audience, the show set up an 800-square-meter "Weaving Lab". Participants can control the virtual loom to generate personalized patterns in real time through gesture sensing devices, and synchronously project them to the 30-meter ring LED curtain wall on site. Brand spokesperson Chen Yu reconstructed traditional cloud and thunder patterns into dynamic particle effects during a live demonstration, triggering heated discussions on social media. At the end of the
conference, ximo officially announced its cooperation with the International Space Agency to develop "space protective fibers". The X-TEX series, which is expected to be mass-produced in 2026, will be used in polar scientific research and low-Earth orbit operation scenarios. Brand CEO Wang Qihang said: "We are pushing the boundaries of clothing functionality to a new dimension, and the R & D investment will increase to 15% of annual revenue in the next three years."
This conference will simultaneously open the "time capsule" online reservation, and consumers can pre-order limited souvenirs containing NFC chips through the brand Mini Program. According to the background data, the smart clothing pre-sale channel with temperature control function has been opened within 1 hour, and the order volume has exceeded 20,000 pieces.
